You've entered plenty of Tournaments on your own… but now we’re kicking things up a notch with a brand new team competition unlike anything you've played before. This weekend, you’ll have the chance to join a squad and take on your rivals in real time. Get ready for the Clash of Rivals: Console Wars!
Every gamer is familiar with the age-old debate that’s turned brother against brother, determined who could play with whom, and continues to divide many of us to this day: the Console Wars. Everyone has an opinion on which gaming machine reigns supreme, and now, it’s time to settle this debate the best way we know how... in the pool hall.
Here's how it's going to work:
This Saturday & Sunday, January 25-26, you'll be able to join one of two teams: Xbox or PlayStation. You'll be able to join the team of your choice using a promo code. The team promo codes will be announced on Saturday, January 25 at 9 AM ET. You’ll have until 11 PM ET on Sunday, January 26 to enter the code of your choice and play your team’s Tournament.
To join a Clash of Rivals team:
Tap the REWARDS & CODES button at the top of the game’s home screen
At the bottom of the screen, tap the Promo Code box and enter the code of your choice — team codes will be announced January 25 at 9 AM ET.
Tap SUBMIT
Remember to enter your code by January 26 at 11 PM ET in order to play!
Once you choose your team and enter their corresponding promo code, a special Tournament will be unlocked where you will compete against other players who chose the same team. In that Tournament, you'll compete for individual rewards amongst your own teammates, with the top players in each division bringing in the top prizes. At the same time, the other team will be playing their own Tournament, too.
After this one-round Tournament concludes, each team's aggregate score will be tallied by adding together the following scores from each of their team's divisions: Top 10 in Amateur, Top 10 in Rookie, Top 20 in Veteran, Top 30 in Pro, and Top 40 in All Star. The team with the better aggregate score will be crowned the Clash of Rivals champions!
The team scores will be tallied and the winning team will be announced on Monday, January 27.
While prizes are awarded for individual performance within your own team, there will be extra special rewards for everyone on the winning team, so don't overlook the value of joining a team where the competition is fierce!
