They say there’s strength in numbers… and now you can put that theory to the test with Ultimate 8 Ball Pool TEAMS!

Gone are the days when pool was merely a solo mission. In Ultimate 8 Ball Pool Version 3.0, you’ll be able to join a Team and work together to chase glory. Ready to rack 'em up, climb the leaderboards, and pocket some epic prizes alongside your friends? Let’s dive into the details.

What are Teams?

Teams are a brand-new way to play, strategize, and win together. In Version 3.0, you can create or join a Team of up to 20 players, and compete against other Teams across a 28-day Season, battling it out for the top spot and the top prizes.

NOTE: Teams will first be introduced via special edition Test Drive Seasons, which will be accelerated in order to introduce the new format and get feedback from you, our loyal community. These Seasons will start with a quick 7-day schedule.

How do I earn Team Points?

Team Points can be earned in ALL game modes—Tournaments, Royales, H2H, Side Hustles, Pool Grand Prix, and even Missions! Simply look for the Team Points icon in the Rewards section of any mode or mission to see what’s up for grabs.

Because Team Points come from every corner of the game, it pays to build a well-rounded Team. Find teammates with strengths in different areas to balance out your squad and give yourselves the best shot at coming out on top.

What are Team Seasons?

A new Season will begin every 4 weeks, giving Teams a full 28 days to rack up as many Team Points as possible, climb through the divisions, and claim the best rewards they can. 

At the end of the Season, the top performing Teams will be promoted to higher divisions, while those at the bottom will face demotion. Your Team can be promoted up to three divisions based on your performance each Season—higher divisions come with bigger prizes, so keep hustling and you’ll be rewarded!

Reminder: Teams will first be introduced via special edition Test Drive Seasons, which will be accelerated to a 7-day schedule. Full 28-day Seasons will be rolled out shortly after the Test Drives.

Who can join a Team?

Anyone can join a Team— or create one of their own! Each Team can have up to 20 members.

Each teammate will hold one of four roles:

President - total admin privileges for the team

Vice President  - can invite new members and promote or demote lower team members

Captain - can invite new members

Member - no team management privileges; focuses on playing, earning points, and collecting rewards

Where do I find Teams within the game?

The Teams tab is located in the bottom right corner of the Home Screen, replacing the old Social tab. (Don’t worry — the Social tab is still around! You’ll now find it in the top right corner of the Home Screen.)

How do I create a Team?

Feeling like a leader? Starting your own Team is easy! 

1. Tap the Teams tab on the Home Screen.

2. Select Create Team.

3. Set up your Team details:

   1. Team Icon: Pick from our pre-made icons or upload your own.

   2. Name: Choose a unique name for your Team. Have fun with this, but please keep it clean!

   3. Team Location: Select your Team’s home base (this won’t limit who can join).

   4. Minimum Player Level: If desired, you can set a minimum level requirement to join your Team. For example, you could set All-Star III as the minimum to ensure only the most competitive players are able to join. If you’d like to leave your Team open to everyone, simply keep Amateur as the minimum level.

   5. Type: There are three types of Teams —

      1. Public: Open and visible to all players. Any player can see your Team Profile when searching for a Team and can choose to Join, as long as they meet your requirements.

      2. Private – Visible to everyone, but joinable by invite only.

      3. Closed – Cannot be seen by anybody and joinable by invite only.

   6. Description: Add a short Team bio to let others know what you’re about. Again, have fun with this but keep it clean!

How do I join an existing Team?

To join an existing Team, simply… 

1. Tap the Teams tab on the Home Screen.

2. Use the Search bar to find a Team by name, or use Advanced Search to narrow down your options.

3. Once you’ve found your desired Team, open their profile and tap JOIN.

NOTE: You can only instantly join Public Teams. Private or Closed Teams require an invite from a current member to join.

How do I know how my Team is doing?

To track your Team’s progress during the Season:

• Head to the Teams tab and tap on the current season.

• The Standings tab shows how you stack up against other Teams.

• The Rewards tab lets you see what you’re playing for.

You can also tap Season Stats in the top right corner to see exactly where your Team Points are coming from, and how your Team compares in each category. Use this info to fine-tune your strategy and chase those top spots!

How do I communicate with my Team?

There are two ways to stay connected with your Team:

• CHAT: A group message thread for everyone on your Team. Access it by tapping the Team tab, then Chat.

• TEAM MESSAGES: Announcements sent by your President or Vice President. You’ll find these under the mail icon in the top right corner of your Team’s home screen.
